Graduate Students and Undergraduates, Non-Degree
Admission
Students may be admitted to the University as non-degree seeking students with the approval of an academic department. Check with the departmental Academic Coordinator (listed at the bottom of each Graduate or Undergraduate Program page) to determine whether you may enroll in classes as a non-degree seeking student.
Application deadlines
Deadlines for applying as a non-degree student are listed online.
Online application
To apply online as a non-degree student, complete the online Non-Degree Student Application.
Non-degree students are required to remit a nonrefundable fee of $30 with their application.

Credit toward a degree
Work taken as a non-degree student does not automatically carry graduate degree credit. However, the department chair and dean may approve up to 12 hours of graduate-level credit to count toward a degree, if the following restrictions have been met:
