Register for Classes
Registration for an upcoming semester begins far in advance of that semester. And classes fill up quickly, so it is best to be aware of when you may register. You may register for classes during your appropriate registration "window." Each semester, check the specific dates of your registration window on the Academic Calendar 
. Students enter the registration system by logging in to Blackboard, selecting the "Secure Apps" tab, and clicking "Register for Classes".
The Online Registration Guide outlines registration procedures, policies, and deadlines that are in effect for a given semester. Each semester visit the Registrar's website and review the policies and announcements. Courses using Blackboard follow the same calendar. Students are given access to their online courses on the first day of classes, not before.

After the 5th day of the semester:
- To drop all classes or your only class, you must formally withdraw from the University. Do so by contacting your Academic Coordinator, and then Withdrawal Services.
- You are liable for fees.
- There is no grade liability through end of the 7th week of the semester.
Transient Students: To take courses elsewhere follow the Transient Student Instructions from the Office of Undergraduate Studies’ website. Please note: distance learners who live outside the Leon, Gadsden, Wakulla county area do not need to complete step three of the form, which involves immunization clearance from the Thagard Health Center.
- Once your Academic Coordinator and Dean have approved the form, the completed and signed document should be faxed to:
